The Emilea Apartment (59 square meters) is very spacious, has its own entrance, and is located on the upper floor of the Casa Principale. It features a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a large living room. It offers a beautiful view. The outdoor seating area is located under shady trees right across the way (on the ground floor).
Directly across the way, on the ground floor under shady trees, is the apartment’s private outdoor seating area. It’s a lovely spot to sit outside and watch life at the Tenuta go by.
Tenuta delle Rose itself is a special place: 16 hectares of Tuscan countryside, vineyards, 770 olive trees, meadows, and a small poplar grove. The estate has a long history as a winery and farm and now features ten vacation apartments as well as common areas for guests.
If you’d like to explore the surrounding area, this is a wonderful starting point. Florence, Siena, and Pisa are all within the wider vicinity, as are many smaller towns, scenic areas, restaurants, and wineries. On the estate itself, a walking trail winds through the vineyards to a bocce court. The estate also produces its own Chianti D.O.C.G. and olive oil.
The hosts are warm and welcoming, speak German, and are happy to help arrange horseback riding excursions, tennis courts, or bike rentals upon request. The Castelfalfi Golf Club is about 25 kilometers away.
For a relaxing start to the day, breakfast can also be provided upon advance request. It is free for children up to age 6, costs €7 for children ages 7 to 12, and €14 per person for those age 13 and older. Please contact the host directly after booking to make your reservation.
The apartment is equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, hand towels, bath towels, and bed linens. Air conditioning and heating ensure comfortable temperatures year-round.
A place that doesn’t seek to impress with its size, but rather with what truly endures: the landscape, the tranquility, and the unique character of an old Tuscan estate.
