This idyllic estate is nestled in the rolling hills around Massarosa, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, lemon groves, and orange groves. The sprawling estate combines Tuscan tranquility with proximity to the Versilia coast and the Apuan Alps.
The property consists of a main house and a separate guest house, connected by an open piazza with a wood-burning stove and spacious outdoor areas for long evenings spent together. Inside, warm materials, large common areas, and the studio under the roof create a relaxed atmosphere that blends the charm of a country home with that of a modern retreat. Great care was taken to select high-quality furniture and furnishings.
The area is equally well-suited for peaceful days by the sea, hikes in the mountains, or long bike rides along the coast and through the Tuscan hills.
Activities & Surroundings
Its location between the sea and the mountains makes the Tenuta an ideal base for active days in Tuscany. The Versilia coast—including Viareggio, Pietrasanta, and Forte dei Marmi—is just a few minutes away, while the hills and roads of the Apuan Alps begin right behind the house.
The region is ideal for road, gravel, and mountain bike tours of varying difficulty levels—from flat coastal roads to challenging mountain routes with views of the sea. Hikes, culinary excursions, olive harvests, and long days spent exploring small villages and wine regions also make for a memorable stay.
In the evening, tranquility returns to the estate: cooking together, long meals under the open sky, and quiet hours spent among the olive and lemon trees, bathed in warm light.
The Tenuta is particularly well-suited for families and groups. Events for up to about 100 people are also possible (catering and a private chef available upon request). Cleaning and shuttle services are also available upon request.
