The Chiemsee Farm combines two fully renovated apartments into an exceptional lodging option for families, groups of friends, or small retreats for up to twelve guests. Together, the apartments feature six spacious bedrooms, four high-quality renovated bathrooms, and two spacious living and dining areas. Both apartments feature fully equipped kitchens with a refrigerator and freezer, oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee makers for both bean-to-cup and drip coffee. The amenities are rounded out by an air fryer, waffle maker, smoothie blender, hand mixer, and a comprehensive selection of cookware, dishes, silverware, and wine and water glasses—ideal for cooking together and spending long evenings in each other’s company.
While the historic barn-style apartment delights guests with its classic farmhouse atmosphere, a cozy wood-burning stove, and spacious rooms, the loft apartment impresses with its exposed wooden beams, high ceilings, and modern, open-concept design. Both apartments feature private balconies offering stunning views of the Chiemgau Alps and Lake Chiemsee.
All bedrooms are spacious and can accommodate a total of twelve guests. The loft features a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom as well as another spacious bathroom. The barn level also has three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a separate walk-in closet and direct access to the balcony. In total, there are four modern bathrooms with spacious rain showers, complemented by a freestanding bathtub that invites you to relax.
A special highlight is the original 16th-century barn, which guests can use exclusively when booking both apartments together. There, guests have access to a spacious playroom and a lockable bike storage area—ideal for anyone exploring the region on two wheels or traveling along the Mozart Bike Route.
High-speed Wi-Fi, two 65-inch smart TVs, washing machines, irons and ironing boards, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, and bed linens and towels for all guests provide additional comfort. Fire extinguishers and fire blankets are, of course, also included.
Guests who book both apartments together have exclusive use of the entire living area of the farmhouse, creating the perfect setting for spending time together—with plenty of space to socialize while still offering each guest plenty of privacy.
The Chiemsee Farm is located between Obing, Amerang, and Eggstätt in one of Upper Bavaria’s most beautiful regions. The famous Mozart Bike Route begins right outside the front door, making the farm an ideal starting point for bike tours. Lake Eggstätt and Lake Obing are about five minutes away, while Lake Chiemsee—with its numerous recreational opportunities—is only about a 15-minute drive away. Hiking enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy here: The Chiemgau Alps, with their varied hiking trails, are just a short drive away and invite you to enjoy unforgettable hikes in the Bavarian mountains.
