About this home

The historic Cummersa combines traditional Apulian architecture with a serene, minimalist atmosphere in the heart of Alberobello. Located away from the tourist crowds, it is a place that is intentionally kept simple and focuses on tranquility, materials, and the Mediterranean way of life.

The private patio and small outdoor areas provide the perfect setting for leisurely mornings, warm evenings, and relaxing moments nestled between nature and the city. At the same time, the accommodation serves as an ideal base for exploring the Valle d’Itria, the “white towns” of Apulia, and the Adriatic coast.

Alberobello is one of the best-known towns in Apulia and is famous for its historic trulli, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Particularly worth seeing are the Rione Monti district, with its numerous small shops and cafés, and the quieter Rione Aia Piccola, where the original village life is still palpable. From the Belvedere Santa Lucia, a sweeping view opens up over the town’s characteristic conical roofs.

Among the most important sights are the Trullo Sovrano, Alberobello’s only two-story trullo; the Trullo Church of Sant’Antonio; and the historic Casa D’Amore. All around Alberobello, vineyards, olive groves, and the countryside of the Valle d’Itria are perfect for day trips. Popular activities include e-bike tours, wine tastings in the surrounding villages, and strolls through the picturesque alleys of the old town.

Cummersa is especially well-suited for couples or travelers who want to experience Alberobello in a personal and authentic atmosphere.
