The Fiammetta apartment is located on the upper floor of the historic Casa Vecchia at Tenuta delle Rose; at approximately 54 m², it offers a quiet retreat for two people. A private entrance leads into the apartment, which features a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a separate living area. The sweeping view to the west, which opens up from the apartment over the Tuscan countryside, is particularly beautiful. The private outdoor seating area is located directly next to the house on the ground floor and offers a lovely spot surrounded by greenery, where you can naturally start the day with a cup of coffee or wind down the evening with a glass of wine.
Fiammetta is an apartment for anyone who likes to keep things simple and, above all, longs for a place where time passes a little more slowly. Open the windows in the morning and let your gaze wander over the landscape; later, perhaps take a stroll through the vineyards or go on an outing to one of the small Tuscan villages. And in the evening, come back, cook something, sit outside, and let the day wind down without any big plans.
The apartment is part of a sprawling historic estate that today houses a total of ten vacation apartments. In addition to the private areas of the individual apartments, there are various communal living spaces open to all guests. They lend the place a pleasant liveliness and make it nice not to be entirely on your own here. At the same time, the approximately 16-hectare property offers plenty of space to retreat at any time and find a quiet spot for yourself. This way, privacy is combined with the special atmosphere of a well-established place where several people are vacationing together.
The landscape surrounding the house features vineyards, 770 olive trees, meadows, and a small poplar grove. The estate’s history as a winery and farm is still evident today. A walking path leads through the vineyards to a bocce court, and the estate’s own Chianti D.O.C.G. and olive oil are produced right on site. It is a landscape that doesn’t need much to be beautiful.
Fiammetta is also wonderfully situated for day trips. Montaione is located in the heart of Tuscany, between Florence, Siena, and Pisa. The major cities are easily accessible on a day trip, but it’s just as charming to explore the smaller towns, restaurants, and wineries in the surrounding area or simply follow the paths through the countryside. The Castelfalfi Golf Club is about 25 kilometers away.
The warm and German-speaking hosts are a natural part of the community. They’re happy to offer personal recommendations and, upon request, can help arrange horseback riding excursions, tennis courts, or bike rentals. Guests who prefer to start their day without much planning can also enjoy breakfast by advance reservation. Breakfast is free for children up to six years old; for children ages seven to twelve, it costs €7; and for those 13 and older, it’s €14 per person. Reservations are made directly with the host after booking.
Fiammetta is equipped with dishes, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, hand towels, bath towels, and bed linens. Air conditioning and heating ensure comfortable temperatures year-round.
Fiammetta is an apartment for people who aren’t necessarily looking for something spectacular, but rather for what makes a place special over time: an old house, the tranquility of the countryside, vineyards and olive trees right outside the door, a private spot surrounded by greenery, and, in the evening, that sweeping view to the west. Add to that the opportunity to use the estate’s common areas and to be part of this special place for a while.

The peaceful setting gives you the feeling of being right in the middle of the countryside, while Montaione and the region’s main attractions are easily accessible.
On the property itself, a walking path winds through the vineyards to a bocce court. Wine and olive oil are produced on site and are just as much a part of the character of the place as the historic buildings and the various communal areas shared by the ten apartments.
