This group arrangement combines four different accommodations on the same property into a single complex that can accommodate up to twelve guests in total. Instead of a single large vacation home, the group has access to several separate living and sleeping areas. This allows guests to enjoy time together while still having significantly more privacy.
The four units are deliberately different from one another—in size and layout as well as in their design.
The largest house in the complex is a light-filled stone cottage nestled beneath an old oak tree. Large windows offer views of the countryside, while natural stone, wood, and Portuguese tiles define the interior. The open-concept living area combines a lounge, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. A wood-burning stove provides warmth and ambiance on cooler days.
In addition to a bedroom with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom, there is a cozy alcove with two single daybeds. This cottage can therefore accommodate up to four people and is also well-suited as one of the communal spaces within the complex.
The second accommodation is a compact apartment for two. Inspired by the landscape along the Sorgue River, wood, stone, and Provençal tiles define the space. A mural depicting a heron by the water reflects the surrounding environment in its design. A double bed, a dressing area, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette make the apartment a private retreat within the group.
For two additional guests, there is a separate room with a unique atmosphere of its own. Its design is reminiscent of the antique shops in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: carefully selected furniture and lighting complement Provençal terracotta floors, as well as shades of butter yellow and lavender blue. Bouquets of flowers drying overhead give the room almost the character of an old herb workshop.
The room has its own entrance, a double bed, and a barrier-free bathroom. It is air-conditioned and wheelchair-accessible.
The fourth unit is an intimate studio located next to the former rose garden. Pastel tones and various shades of pink dominate the rooms, complemented by hand-painted murals. A climbing rose frames the head of the bed, while another painting depicts the Sorgue River, cypress trees, and the mountains of Vaucluse.
The studio features a double bed and a fold-out futon that sleeps two additional people, providing sleeping accommodations for up to four people. A fully equipped kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower also make this part of the complex largely self-contained.
This studio has a unique feature: it is directly adjacent to the hosts’ private main house. During retreats and weekend events, it is therefore reserved for the person organizing or leading the group. During the week, it can be used as part of a group booking.
All in all, this creates an unusually flexible accommodation for up to twelve people: four separate units with their own sleeping areas, multiple bathrooms, and various options for self-catering. Here, “community” doesn’t mean having to share the same space from breakfast until bedtime.
The property’s outdoor areas connect the accommodations and are available for the group’s use. Wi-Fi, air conditioning, parking, and a barbecue are also provided.
Important to know: The hosts’ private main house is also located on the property and is not included in the group reservation. The reservation covers the four accommodations described and the outdoor areas designated for guests—not the entire property for exclusive use.
