Småland—a quintessentially Swedish landscape in the homeland of Astrid Lindgren. Michel of Lönneberga and Bullerbü are great places to visit. The Astrid Lindgren World in Vimmerby or a trip to the many glassblowing workshops in the area is fun for the whole family. Forests, lakes, wildlife (moose park in town). And, of course, plenty of peace and quiet—a chance to slow down.
There are some great places to visit: Sports: Sweden’s third-largest speedway arena is located in town. The local club, Dackarna, is the strongest team in Sweden.
An electric motor package is available as an option for exploring the area’s four large lakes from the water. Boats can be rented on site in Hultsfred for just 100 SEK (approx. 9 €).
